Abstract
Rare earth doped Na3AlP3O9N oxynitridophosphate phosphors were prepared by a conventional solid-state reaction method. The samples were sintered at 1073 K for 6 h in NH3 atmosphere. Eu doped samples show blue emission due to the 4f(6)5d(1) -> 4f(7) transition of Eu2+. When Eu concentration was 1 mol%, the emission intensity was the highest in Eu doped samples. The Tb-doped samples showed green emission at about 550 nm doe to the D-5(4) -> F-7(5) transition of Tb3+.
